Optimistic signals from major tourist markets

(VEN) - Despite the difficult economic situation, the tourism sector has still maintained an increase in number of tourists with 2.5 million international tourists visiting the country in the first four months of this year, an increase of 22.9 percent from the same months last year. The number of tourists from major markets continues to increase. A range of tourism promotion programs have been organized. These are considered optimistic signs for the Vietnamese tourism sector, contributing to fulfilling the 2012 target.

(VEN) - Almost no tourist visiting the city of Da Lat can ignore Pongour Waterfall which is also known as Bay Tang (Seven Layers) or Thien Thai (Paradise) Waterfall. This waterfall has become famous for its charming, imposing natural beauty. It can be said to be the most beautiful waterfall in the southern part of the Tay Nguyen (Central Highlands) region. Pongour Waterfall is 20km from Duc Trong District and 50km from the center of Da Lat, near National Highway 20 with a section running from Da Lat to Ho Chi Minh City.
