Numbers speak about the situation of enterprises

(VEN) - After a nearly one month long survey under the direction of the Prime Minister, the Ministry of Planning and Investment has submitted a report to the Government on the situation facing local enterprises in the first four months and a number of suggestions. On the basis of these report and suggestions policy makers will develop solutions to support businesses and prompt economic recovery.

(VEN) - The Ministry of Finance proposed several solutions to resolve the difficulties facing businesses at the May cabinet meeting. Businesses faced great challenges in the first four months of this year, and the ministry proposed a raft of measures to ensure a stable macro economy, an inflation rate of nine percent and an increase the Gross Domestic Product (GDP) by six percent in 2012.

(VEN) - In honor of the National Year of Traffic Safety, District 9 Department of Education and Training is working with AIP Foundation and Intel Products Vietnam on an innovative project for children's safety on the road. A Traffic Safety Camp in the Nha Viet Eco-Village was open recently inviting students from four primary schools to share their experiences and knowledge through interactive games together with 300 Intel volunteers.

(VEN) - This year, Vietnam will celebrate Liberation Day on April 30, and International Workers' Day, May 1, in a special context. From May State employees will receive higher incomes thanks to salary rises. Businesspeople and investors to some extent feel happy as bank interest rates have decreased; inflation in the first quarter of 2012 has been curbed to the lowest rate yet compared with the same period in the previous years; and the foreign exchange rate has remained stable since the beginning of this year.
