(VEN) - Handicraft & Wood Industry Association of Ho Chi Minh City (HAWA) Deputy Chairman Dang Quoc Hung predicted that the export market for Vietnamese wood furniture businesses this year would continue being difficult, so increasing sales in the domestic market would be a good solution.

(VEN) - After the success for a first Zhejiang export exchange fair in Hanoi in 2011 the Zhejiang Province Department of Trade and the Vietnam National Trade Fair and Advertising Joint Stock Company (Vinexad) launched a second event of this kind from May 16-18 at the Hanoi International Exhibition Center at 191 Tran Hung Dao in Hanoi.

Switzerland offers large market for Vietnamese businesses

(VEN) - The Directorate General of Swiss Customs said that trade between Vietnam and Switzerland had hit US$247.48 million in the first quarter of this year, marking a 58 percent increase from a year ago. Of this, Vietnam sold US$191.5 million worth of goods to Switzerland (increasing 90 percent from the same time last year) and bought about US$56 million worth of goods from this market (as much as in 2011).
