(VEN) - The Trade Promotion Department under the Ministry of Industry and Trade will work together with the ASEAN-Korea Center (AKC) to launch a workshop on trade and investment between Vietnam and the Republic of Korea (RoK) on September 8 in Hanoi.
The workshop will present the investment environment, incentive policies and investment opportunities in Vietnam, to Korean investors/companies, in order to call for Korean investment in projects in the areas of agriculture, forestry, agricultural machinery and industrial zones in Vietnam. The workshop will also be an opportunity for domestic businesses and industrial zones to meet Korean partners and discuss possibilities to cooperate in trade and investment.
The Korean team will include 28 persons including representatives of 23 Korean companies. Prioritized areas to be discussed from September 6-8 will be industrial machinery, construction machinery, agricultural machinery, agriculture, forestry, fisheries, food, drinks, handicrafts, household appliances, energy sources development, distribution, wholesale, retail, consultation in technology transfer, and joint venture./.
