(VEN) - The People's Committee of Quang Ninh province recently made Decision 817/QD-UBND approving the investment project to build the embankment for the Dam Ha River in Dam Ha district.
The embankment will be built on a total area of 16,766sq.m along the two sides of the Dam Ha River with total length of 2,000m (1,000m on each side). There will be sidewalks along the embankment, drainage ditches, manholes and sewers. During the implementation of this project, the Dam Ha riverbed will be dredged.
In addition, a new 100KVA-35(22)/0.4KV transformer station will be built to ensure sufficient power supply for the public lighting system along the embankment.
Total investment in the Dam Ha River embankment project is VND62.2 billion, coming from the central budget and the local budgets of Quang Ninh province's and Dam Ha district.
The project will help ensure safety for residential areas and infrastructure systems along the two sides of the Dam Ha River, thus contributing to socioeconomic development in Dam Ha district and Quang Ninh province as a whole./.
